Please read ALL the info on this page regarding our picking policies and hours before you come out to the farm.

ALWAYS check our facebook page or call the farm (919-467-3004) BEFORE you come out to pick! We frequently have to close early due to weather or lack of berries.

*PLEASE NOTE: We will open our Strawberry fields during the week for as long as we can. Check our Facebook for opening/closing times because our hours may vary due to Strawberry availability.

2018 STRAWBERRY PRICES

Pick-your-own: $2.50 per pound
Pre-picked:  $4.25 per pound
Picking Baskets:  $2.00 each

 

*CASH OR CHECKS ONLY DURING STRAWBERRY SEASON. CREDIT CARDS ARE NOT ACCEPTED FOR STRAWBERRIES OR AT THE FUN PARK DURING THIS TIME!

 

**Please do not eat the berries without paying for them. If you’d like a sample, please ask our staff and they’ll be happy to provide you with one.

PARENTS – Children must remain with you at all times while picking strawberries. Please do not let them wander freely. Our plants are easily damaged.

For the health and safety of all of our guests, please DO NOT bring your pets to the farm.

We will stop selling tickets 1 hour before the Family Fun Park closes in order to allow our guests to enjoy all we have to offer.

 

Strawberry picking may be unavailable during inclement weather or if our crop has been heavily picked over by other visitors. The Family Fun Park is only open if strawberry picking is open.  If the fields are closed, so are our attractions. We recommend that you check our Facebook page or contact us at 919-467-3004 before you come and visit the farm.

STRAWBERRY SEASON FAMILY FUN PARK

On Saturdays and Sundays during Strawberry Season, come visit our Family Fun Park! On Saturdays from 10 am to 6 pm and Sundays from 1 pm to 6 pm, our best attractions are available for you and your family to enjoy. For just $5 per person (CASH OR LOCAL CHECKS ONLY), the admission price includes tons of fun activities:

STRAWBERRY SEASON BIRTHDAY PARTIES

We’d love to help you celebrate a special birthday on the farm.  Our Strawberry Season Birthday Party Package includes:
  • Family Fun Park admission for up to 30 people (additional guests can be added for $5 per person)
  • A private shelter reserved for two hours just for your party
  • A handful of feed for each guest to give our goats
  • A small basket of berries for the birthday child
Parties can be held for a fee of $200 during our strawberry season on Saturdays and Sundays ONLY, and are subject to weather conditions and berry availability.  We will do our best to reschedule parties if we are unable to open.  Please contact Kelsey, our events manager at Kelsey@phillipsfarmsofcary.com to book your party.

STRAWBERRY FIELD TRIPS

During the week (Monday to Thursday) the farm is available for field trips for school groups.  With a minimum of 20 students and 5 adults, we will open our Family Fun Park for your group.  Field Trips are subject to weather conditions and berry availability.  We will do our best to reschedule field trips if we are unable to open. Please contact our events manager  kelsey@phillipsfarmsofcary.com for pricing and more details to book this event at the Farm.

***IMPORTANT BERRY PICKING POLICY***

Phillips Farms suggests berries be picked and taken home in our re-usable baskets. These baskets can be purchased for $2.00 each and hold around 6 quarts of berries. While you are welcome to bring your own container to take your berries home in, berries must be picked and weighed in our baskets. Berries can then be transferred to your container, but please be aware that this transfer often bruises the berries.  In order to take home the best, most beautiful berries, we recommend using our baskets. Once you’ve purchased our baskets, you can bring them back again and again to use in our fields.
